Julia Reichelstein

Investor

Julia, prior to Piva, led digital expansion for Entrepreneurial Finance Lab (EFL), a global fintech that increases access to credit in emerging markets through alternative data credit scoring. While at EFL, Julia designed and managed the company’s first inclusive mobile product, starting with one of Kenya’s largest commercial banks, Equity Bank, and eventually scaling the product across three continents. As an operator, Julia gained deep understanding of product management, corporate sales, and social-sector fundraising.

Julia has previously held positions with Accion Venture Lab, Opportunity Fund, the World Bank, and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA).

Climate change is on track to be the largest driver of global inequality over the coming century; Julia is passionate about investing in companies that enable quality of life to rise sustainably, for all.

Julia holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where she was an Impact Design Immersion Fellowship awardee and the Co-Director of the Impact Fund’s fintech team. Julia also earned her B.A. in Economics from Stanford.
